HELIOT EMIL

Here you can find a selection of work I did during my internship at HELIOT EMIL in Copenhagen.
These images showcase various aspects of the internship, ranging from invitations, menus, and content to advertisements, video editing, image retouching, e-commerce assets, and 3D mockups for showrooms, among others.

Audioreactive visual project

For this assignment, I worked on my own DJ set, combining it with live visuals. The visuals were created from a fascination with the purity, concentration, and focus seen in hunting scenes among animals, which, in my opinion, carry a certain tension. I found this tension and buildup mirrored in music, where there's a gradual progression leading to 'the drop,' creating a similar anticipation in the audience, akin to animals waiting for their prey. I contrast this concept with ourselves as humans, where our 'hunt' or way of obtaining food is simply going to the supermarket. I depict this supermarket scene through camera footage, as we are, in a sense, observed like 'animals,' much like how I observe the animals' hunt from behind my computer.

Afterward, I reworked this visual output and
screen-printed it onto t-shirts.

This project got featured in
Slanted Magazine #44 – Type Fashion.

Antiku typeface

Antiku is my first typeface, a revival of the Latin Antique from the Book of Specimens by Franklin TYPE Foundry, 1889. In addition to the classic design, I have developed a variable variation consisting of pixels that can be adjusted through three different sliders. This allows for dynamic customization, making Antiku versatile for various design needs.
